Everything we ordered was tasty. A little slow on the service but otherwise worth checking out.
It was definitely the best kind of detour we took on the way back home. Very filling and taste delicious...close to hometown ♡ bookmarked for the next time we come through for sure. Love the concept: southern food with seafood and vietnamese food...what a delicious and interesting concept ! Bring it to the city!!

I've only had their Phó. We just moved to this area of TX from Oklahoma. I've had Phó all over the U.S. due to the extensive traveling my family does because of my sons' wrestling, football, and Jiu Jitsu; and this is my ABSOLUTE favorite!!! My niece swears by this place and from what I've seen so far, I agree. The owner is an absolute sweetheart and the sassy waitress will have you rolling!!! I don't care where we end up in the Houston area, we will ALWAYS come back to this restaurant!!!
Awesome experience! When you are told to look for the boat, that's not an exaggeration. This place serves delicious, fresh southern seafood in a clever atmosphere, as well as some classic fresh vietnamese dishes. The menu is full of classic family recipes utilizing generations old seasoning techniques that are sure to please. Some of the best crawfish outside Louisiana at an amazing value. You'll love the flavor of the family recipe seasoning. Fresh shrimp, fish and oysters ensure that crawfish isn't the only reason to visit. And if none of that is what you're looking for, the phô is a great wholesome meal! But don't forget to save room for dessert! I recommend the peach cheesecake. Whatever your tastes, you'll have a great time and leave with a full belly. Don't pass up a ride on The Boat!
My Aunt brought me to Hempstead to this place for the first time. I really enjoyed it . I got the seafood boil and it was the right kind of spicy for me and the shrimp were HUGE❗❗and I got a blackberry Margarita..SOOOO Delicious ... Then I tasted my Aunts fried shrimp and OOHEEMMGEEE. Loved it. The customer service was wonderful 👍🏾🔥..10/10!!! I will be back..SOOOON 😋😋😋😋😋😋😋😋😋😋😋😋😋
Awesome food, fresh and yummy so good clean The service is good specially Crawfish and shrimp bowl. spicy with garlic butter. I love it. 10/10
I have come to the boat many of times and every time it is always good hospitality, food, and service. The Rita’s are really good and will get you thereee omg! The Food be spicy, well cooked, and good quality for the prices. I do recommend coming out and trying “The Boat”
Wasn’t sure what to expect. Happened to go in one day that it was a bit dead inside but I was PLEASANTLY SURPRISED! Be sure to get the shrimp. Either the poboy or the fried shrimp plate. Perfect.
